Fox Information settles defamation case by voting expertise firm Dominion for $787.5 million

American information channel Fox Information on Tuesday reached a $787.5 million settlement in a defamation case introduced by voting expertise firm Dominion that alleged the community knowingly aired false claims linking its machines to a conspiracy to undermine the 2020 US presidential election.
The settlement to finish the case prevented what most consultants prompt would have been a dangerous, high-profile trial for the channel during which proprietor Rupert Murdoch would have been compelled to testify in open court docket.
